Have you discounted as their offspring the various possible births in Surrey on freebmd?

From the Probate office - IF the Will went to Probate

But you'd need to know when and where he died to even think of applying for a copy

Are Electoral Rolls available post 1965?

I would assume that an Accountant would have a Will. Where could I obtain a copy?

Gladys was living at 2 Northway Morden Surrey and her death was reported by her brother Sidney John Tindall of East Horsley .

Is it the case then that they had no children - who registered the death?
Also, have you checked electoral register for the addresses you have (I assume there was an address on the death cert) 1963 onwards?

For some time I have unsuccessfully been searching for a death for Douglas Henry Williams who was born 1908 Lambeth. He married Gladys Ada Tindall 1934 Mitcham. Gladys died 1978 Merton and was described as being the widow of Douglas Henry Williams "Accountant". I think they appear in the 1963/64 Electoral Rolls as living at 9a Hermitage Lane,NorburySW.
Anyone with suggestions re how to proceed?
