Hmmm I'm not sure and this difficult as yes she would be old when married and I can't work backwards as she is sister of an ancestor, so a distant aunt of mine.

If this George was the husband of Catherine who died Feb 1839 and was buried at Bedale, and is also the chap in Andy's 1841 census, he didn't let the grass grow under his feet!

There is a large discrepancy in the age of the George Craggs in census 1841 at Richmond, and George buried at Bedale in 1850 though.

How do you know she was born in 1790? 37 seems rather old for a woman's first marriage in those days. Was she married before?

The married in Bedale in 1827.
