If the person died after 1969 then the death may be found by using the birthdate

Just to add a bit more to my post, I am looking for death for Amy Spencer, born 27th October 1888. She disappears after the 1911 census. She may or may not have married. Bob

On a recent post it was suggested that a death could be found by using the DOB. I have tried this on FreeBMD, but all I get is "not a valid DOB" Any suggestions? Bob
