By adding any reply to a thread has the effect of nudging back up the board.

Thank you guys! Sorry, I'm a little 'green' to this, not sure how I nudge up a thread :-/
James grant is proving to be my nemesis lol!!

I'll give the detail of the marriage cert:

Name: James Grant
Age: 25
Occ: Brass Finisher
Address: 279 Tooley St, Bermondsey
Father: George Grant
Fathers Occ: Commercial Traveller

Spouse-

Name: Matilda Collison Robertson
Age: 25
Occ: Cigar box maker
Address: 26 Church Row, Bethnal Green
Father: William Robertson (deceased)
Fathers Occ: Cigar box manufacturer

They married on 7th may 1906 at Bethnal Green registry office

Not sure if any of that helps :-/

I know loads about Matilda, but nothing about James :-(

Surely it would have been better to nudge up your original thread rather than starting another one

Hi guys, wondering if someone would be so kind as to help me look up who was living at 279 Tooley Street, Bermondsey, on the 1901 & 1911 census's?
That is the address given on the marriage certificate of my wifes great grandfather, James Grant.
Thank you!
