the record on other peoples trees has James bap in Hampshire -- I think a bit to far away

If you get hold of a book called East Kent Parishes by David Wright a good book about all the parishes and a map of the parishes , great for learning which parish is next to who

If you want to progress further back you should join Find my Past a lot of Kent parish records on there now.

P.s. I like the surname: Sheepwash, how very unusual! I think Richard Sheepwash was one of the witnesses at the marriage; perhaps a family friend ?

I think there was a Lord M of London who had the surname Hoare, and I think it was him who opened a bank in this country, perhaps under a different name now ?
