''St John the Evangelist, Westminster [built by 1728], is situated in a small square or close, southward of the Abbey, and between Millbank Street and Tufton Street. It is one of the fifty new churches voted by parliament in Queen Anne's reign, and was designed by Archer, a cotemporary of Hawksmoor and Vanburgh, to the latter of whom is has been erroneously attributed. This parish was taken from that of St Margaret Westminster, by act of parliament. The church is a rectory, in the county and archdeaconry of Middlesex, in the diocese of London'

Can anyone help ? I have been looking for the burial place of my 3rd Gt

Grandfather for a while now but unable to locate him.

His name was WILLIAM THOMAS BEARD B1770 in Holborn London (parents were John and Priscilla Beard).

He had 3 sisters Rosetta, Sarah and Mary Ann.

He died at Gt Smith Street, Westminster on 27 November 1852 (I have his death cert) I have found an entry on FAMILYSEARCH.ORG which says he was
buried on 11 Dec 1852 in Westminster but where is a mystery.

I don't have any info about his sisters either.

He married an Elizabeth Edmunds in Oct 1813, she died in 1848.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you - Sandra
