Find Ancestors

Hi
Edward was born 1826 in Oldham, Lancs. He is with his parents Samuel and Betty and 6 siblings in Oldham in 1841 but I cannot find him after that. On Ancestry it points me to some Canadian and New York passenger lists but I don't have access to them. I wonder if someone with access could let me know if it looks like my Edward or not.
