Find Ancestors

I found my great great grandfather, William Reeves born 1832 (supposedly in Cheshire)in the 1871 census.
Its definitely the right one because he had 11 children:

But Im struggling to go back further and find out about his parents and where they lived. If any one would please help me it would truly appreciated.

Almost certainly as Clotton Hoofield is in the parish of Tarvin.
