I would say that is definitely my Harry,but once again his birth is a bit screwy.
The only time it is almost right is when he died, even then it is a few years out.
I wonder whether he tried to make his birth year closer to his wife's?

The marriage seems right.Harry's father was Thomas and he was a brass worker

A little tip, Jany. When searching for a name like Humphrey which could easily be mis-spelt, use a wild card, eg Humph*

I think they both muddled the ages a bit..Bertha was 8 years older than Harry.
The death ages were Bertha aged 71 in 1937 which would tie up with a 1865 birth and Harry 71 in 1948, so still a bit out

They would have been living in the Croydon area, probably, as they married there and died there.
Harry was actually born Samuel Harry but switched the name around ,so might be under either name!
