Says she died at a Nursing home in Stockport, so the death record you have found is probably correct. Looks like the website has the wrong date of death.

Hi,

I have information that a Josephine Mary Bethell died 04th March 2003.
Looking on Ancestry's records of BMD all I can find is a record for a person of the same name as JFM 2001 East Cheshire.
Is the ancestry record comprehensive? Is it likely my 2003 date is wrong? Can anyone find a record that matches the info I have?
Any advice welcome.
