Father on marriage cert is James Henry but on birth cert James Herbert ?

My post gives mothers maiden name Wickenden

Witnesses were Thomas William knight, who I believe may have married mary Mabel sister, other witness was george Higgins Mary's father

We have this birth certificate fathers name is James Herbert, mother being elizabeth mary waterman, late judd formerly wicked on, cannot find a marriage for them, or any children being born to them, am totally stuck and frustrated

Do you know if any of the witnesses to the marriage are relations ?

Steel worker for both James William and James Henry, I am assuming working somewhere in the east end of london

What is the occupation of James Henry Waterman from the marriage cert ?

Have not been able to find a reliable birth certificate for j.w.w., the only info we have is his marriage and death certificates

Have you found his birth on FreeBMD to see the maiden name of mother ?

Then tried to go backwards to find a possible marriage.

James william waterman was born approx 1915, married mary Mabel Higgins 1937, age at marriage on certificate 22.
Marriage certificate info tells me fathers name James Henry waterman, married at st Anne's limehouse August 1937, I'm looking for information James William waterman birth and family
