Pat, please remove your email address as it is against the site's T&C and for your own safety and privacy. As you only joined the site this month, and this is your first post, you probably didn't realise. GR is an 'open' site and can be read by anyone, members or not.

What might actually be better, is for you to delete this thread, and re-post (without contact details!) on find living relatives as presumably you need to find descendents if he had any.

As he has died, please give as much information as you have

- birth year and place
- full name
- parent's names (might have to go the sibling route)
- if he married, who, when and where
- when and were he died.
- last time you had contact and where

You can also use the 'search all trees' function under the 'Search' button at the top of this page, then send a message to anyone who has him listed in their tree. They may be a relative
