The passenger details for Francesco J. arrival in USA 1925.

Under final destination it states Naples, Italy which has been crossed out and London, Eng added.

You can view the the image on familysearch.org

After looking at the 1901 and 1911 census data and the fact that Francis Joseph (Jospeh on the 1911 census) gives Naples as a destination, the surname maybe

De Scisciolo

Hello Janice,

It seems as though quite a few members on this site have the name Discipline in their tree. You may well have some connections on here.

If you click on Search (above) and then on Search All Trees and add the name Discipline, you will see what I mean. You can also play around with the various spellings to see what crops up. If you find any connections, you can contact the tree owner.

Hi, I hope someone can help me. I tried to find various members of my family firstly on my fathers side going back to my Great Grandad who was italian. The current surname for this side of the family is DISCIPLINE. Back over the years it has been on some records as DISCIPLINO, DISCEPLINE, DISCIPLINS. I can find my Great grandads marriage to his wife Elizabeth A Green in 1902. Before that, i cannot find him on any citizenship/nationalisation records, passenger lists or when he come over from Italy or Sicily. I know Elizabeth was Irish and that is all. If i was then able to find any of those things (which I cant!). How would i also trace back into Italy/Sicily? Two older members from different sides of the family believe the original name was Di Cipliano or De Cippliano. Ive hit a brick wall. I tried to do this about five years ago and had the same hurdle. I am trying for the second time and want to be successful. If anyone coulld help point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful. One more thing I thought of is tracing Elizabeth back into Ireland and what is the best route on that one.. Many thanks. Jan
