Sarahs Child connected to us is Alfred Baker. I found a family tree for a Sarah J Lewis on a website Stating her Dad Thomas, Mum Margaret, sisters Esther, Margaret that was all about them and then it went on to our side sarah but dont know the person who put it on have been in touch but no word back. I have a relation in Perthshire who was a tailor then two census later was a farmer.

If Thomas was a Cab Proprietor on Sarah's marriage certificate then obviously the Thomas in the 1841 who is a Tailor is not correct.
How do you know that his wife's name was Margaret please?
Which of Sarah's children is your direct descendent?

Do you have them on any other census, if so could you post it up - there's nothing jumping out for a Thomas and Margaret in the right area. Do you know where they were born, his occupation and her age please?
