Find Ancestors

I am having difficulties in finding my ancestors, annie Smith born 1902 born bedwellty but moved to bath, had two children harold and Nancy but unsure of the surname. I have been told they ran a lodging house. In bath and and cafe called the spinning wheel but that's it. Also ellen maria Smith again born in bedwellty in 1908 but moved to southsea as far as I know she had one child Cecil she had a very sad end to her l I feel roughly in the early seventies . Please someone if u can help that would b great. :-(

Was Annie actually registered as Ellen Annie? This is the only birth in 1902 in Bedwelty that I can see:-

This would make sense if the family above that Andy found is the right one as her mother would be Ellen so Annie was probably known by her middle name to avoid confusion.

I can see what you mean Kath, but that would mean they called 2 children Ellen. Not sure about that?

freebmd has only two births in BATH for HAROLD with MMN Smith...

....... neither had a sister registered as Nancy

I have no real idea about Cecil year of birth but he was born in southsea. 1911 census has the correct info as my ggm was lily Smith but am unable find any further information on any other family members. Thanks go for all ur help. :-(
