I am now starting to get a bit confused with the information that I'm finding on Free Reg search http://www.freereg.org.uk/cgi/Search.pl I'm trying to find out the line from Marshall Gowers born around 1786 in Little Snoring, Norfolk. He married Frances Wilkin in Great Ryburgh, Norfolk in 1813. I think I've Marshall Gowers born around 1768 in Little Snoring, Norfolk. Then I think another Marshall Gowers who married another Elizabeth. Then William Gowers married Abigail Seeker in East Barsham Norfolk in 1745. However I can't find when William Gowers was born. There is a Thomas Gowers born in Iteringham, Norfolf in 1703 but I don't know if this is linked as I've got nothing on William Gowers DOB. I hope this makes sense but if anyone knows of any other websites that can help I'd be grateful. I did find one useful site which is http://www.the-snorings.co.uk/index.html Thank you :-)

	Hi Darrell, Welcome back, now you've found your way back to your thread, how about posting up the 1881 census info you've found and we can see what else can be found for you? Give us the 1881 census details for your gg-grandfather and I'm sure someone will be able to find out more.

He was born in 1854 but I cannot find any entries in the 1861 & 1871 census which should confirm who the father and mother are off the household records. Would there be reason why he shouldn't be in the 1861 & 1871 census. Thanks for your help.
