This is indeed a very good find, validates the 1995 date of death. I feel reluctant to let the son know so think it's best to let that information rest. I will now concentrate on his mother's side of the family.

I'm checking this out for his son, who said his Dad died when he was quite young, so I only can go on this information. His information may well be right but he can't validate it. I have ordered the marriage cert to see if that shines a light on things.

Trying to find the death record for James Charles Godrey.

He was born around c1925 in the Surrey area of England. He married Sheila Primrose Williams nee Gray in July-Aug-Sept 1973 in the Surrey Northern Reg district. They had a son born in 1975 names John.

I believe he may have died between 1978 - 1980 in the Englefield Green area of Berkshire.
