Hi, I am trying to find the death of Ethel Ackrill who lived in Hull Yorkshire. She was born on 24th March 1911 to May Ellen Ackrill nee Crichton and William Ackrill who died on 26th March 1950 in Hull and Ethel was the informant and at that time was not married. I haven't to date found a marriage for her.
The last known address for Ethel was at 2 Deans Avenue Hull.
Any information would be great to complete this record for her.

Not seeing a death for her, so possibly she died after 2006 as the records only go up that far?

This is the only death I can see for that name but this one would be too old to be the one you are looking for:-

Perhaps she lived until after 2006 which is when the death index stops on Findmypast.

Many thanks to you all, perhaps she did get married after her father's death in 1950? I will pop up to Hull sometime and do some more research there, maybe able to get some info from electoral registers.

Well, there's no marriage recorded for Ethel M Ackrill, so doubt she ever married. - That is unless she emigrated.

The death posted earlier for Ethel M in Notts 1967 is probably the widow of Joseph who died in 1950 (Notts)and was on the same probate page as William - probate granted to Ethel May his widow, so a coincidence I think.

Think your only hope are the ERs as you have said.
