my mum passed 2012 irene taylor age 83, also known as lee,todd
my father kenneth taylor age 80 is still living.
also dan lee (li) who married irene in 1953
i am lookin for anyone who knows these people, relatives etc.

if u r able to help i look forward to hearing from you

To find out if any members have your family in their tree.....click on "Search Trees" above and then click on "Search all trees" from the drop down menu.

If you find any connections you can send a message to the tree owner/owners via GRs message system.

If you would like help with your research.......we need a few more details regarding places and dates of birth.

The birth record suggests that finding relatives may be tricky............

Because Irene's mother's maiden name was also Todd, it's likely that she wasn't married.

However, if you were to buy the certificate, then you would find out what her first name was. It's possible that you might be able to find her on the 1911 census, although as Reggie has pointed out, there is no guarentee especially if she had a common first name.

There is also a chance that Irene's mum later married. Finding and buying the MC ought to give her father's name if she knew it, which would help to identify the correct family in census.

As you are new to FH, English and Welsh certificates should be bought from the local registrer office, or on line from

http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/

They will charge £9.25 which includes P&P. Don't buy from anywhere else.

BMD references can be found on this site, or for free on http://www.freebmd.org.uk/
Freebmd are in the process of being transcribed and currently go up to about the 1950s. The earliest date will be in Sept 1837 when civil registration began.

9b is the volume number and 395 the page. These need to be quoted when ordering from gro.
