Could Hannah's place of birth be IRELETH in Lancashire?

I don't have access to check Charles' occupation, but could he have been there for work when his daughter was born?

Iron mining was huge in that area between 1850's to the 1890's, with families migrating from all parts of the UK for work.

The registration district for Ireleth was Ulveston and there is a birth for a Hannah Palmer in 1872, but she's not yours. Her birth reg is on CumbriaBMD ..... http://www.cumbriabmd.org.uk/ ....but her mother's maiden name is Millard.

This is for info on the Parish Church.....

Baptism details held in the Cumbria Records Office.

Might be worth checking to see if there is a baptism for your Hannah.. They hold baptism records from 1865 onwards.
