Got the image of the gravestone, hard to make out...Yes its quiet big isnt it!!! have traced a marraige for Lin Ann Pianta to William Lawson (no sign of any children tho) and a death for her in Stirling aged 88...I cant find Alfonso and have tried various different spellings of Pianta...But according to the 1911 census you sent he was living with his aunt Margaret Doyle (nee Neish) wonder if its possible his name was changed to Doyle???

There are bound to be various spellings for that name

Trying to trace the wherabouts of Alfonso A Pianta born 1900 Glasgow, parents were Dominick S Pianto and Jessie Ann Neish...They both ran a hotel in Creiff Perth Scotland where Dominick and Jessie Ann died. Jessie died 1911 before the census...(I think) as I can only find 2 Piantas on the 1911 census at Creiff Perth and I think the other one could be his sister Lin Ann Pianta, although she isnt showing up as that (could be going with a nickname) Dominick died a couple of years earlier, both fairly young... I did trace a marriage for Lin Ann in Glasgow, but thats as far as I got..But no trace of Alfonso at all???any help appreciated..
