Thanks MarieC, I know this, however, John Wise father was John Wise, but was his father John Francis Wise ? I think I really need to find who is mother was... should be: Sarah Theobald, from Kent. Can it be done though ?

On the 1850 marriage the witnesses were a William Wise (perhaps a brother?) and a Sarah surname looks like Office?

All the men were labourers.

I know John Wise father was also called: John Wise, but there may have been other John Wise about at that time too. John Francis Wise and Sarah Theobald maybe his parents ?

I think my John Wise was born in Selling about 1823-6.

I sure hope I have the correct family line... because someone on here, has my family link from Kent going way back in time... if the above is not right, :-( Fingers crossed! :-)

I'm trying to confirm that John Wise born about 1823, perhaps 1826 ? who married Ann Drury from Molash in Kent, parents were: John Francis Wise born abt 1798 in Kent, and Sarah Theobold born 1801 in Kent. Would this info be shown on the Parish records ?
