David, I'm assuming you don't have the marriage certificate.

That would be your best start.

It should tell you her age, if she was a spinster or widow, and
her father's name and occupation

She married Ernest Albert Edward Burden 1908 bridge Kent i have only a genes reunited copy but i know her only living child's family i got her name from looking up who Ernest married knowing Marisa maiden name helped she died between 1916 1920 as he remarried 1921 this is all i have

It would help to know who she married and when.

She could have been born outside Eng & Wales
She may have been married before
She may have taken on a stepfather's surname

Could you say where you got the information about her from, please?
