Great Vicci the baptism is correct those are his parents, perhaps these records from those times lagged a little more behind the births!, also the infor on Harriet is nice to have as that was my next target to try and get info on, as I do not know that area well it is difficult to try and figure how close some of the other towns/villages are without consulting a map.

Thankyou Vicci, his birth date is not known by me for certain so that looks good, I thought why would his death be reg in dover when he was living close to his son in Ashford it makes no sense , I am going to order up the death certificate as I find these help a lot in my research but I try to limit them to ones that I am fairly certain will be correct and have had a lot of luck with help on this site finding the right ones to order. For some reason unknown to me these records are not all available here in Canada from ancestry or other sites, thank you so much

his parents are recorded on a tree as Thomas Wraight and Elizabeth Wetherell

if he was in the Ashford area this could be his death

On the 1871 census he was shown as living at 128 coach House Yard Ashford and his wife was Harriot nee Dalton, sorry Elizabeth wetheral was his mother

Hi am trying to find a record of death for James Wraight, he was born about 1808 at Blean Kent possibly Hernhill area and later married Harriot Dalton he may have died at dover Kent in 1887 at about age 79, as I found a death record for a James Wraight vol 2a page 590, however on the 1881 census he lived at Ashford Kent close to his son John Wraight, any help greatly appreciated
