Hello Christopher, welcome to the boards.

Have you looked in "Search all Trees" (under Search on the menu above) to see if anyone else has these people in their trees?

Christopher...

Castlereagh (Castlerea) at the time in question (1840) was a townland in the Parish of Kilkeevin....

1901 Census shows 2 Shannon's living in the "area"

Patrick aged 60 an ex RIC man.Ardass Castlerea
Catherine aged 55 living Cloodacarra Castlerea looks like son Patrick living there also.

Have you any more info at all relating to the family..?
