jes i found his birth an death on genes yes i thought his mother was a single lady i found a patrica m gratton there is also a michael james gratton who is my late brother in law but this is all i can find out about his family

You need to buy his birth cert. we can't give you his mums name. But can maybe find her on census if you get her name

Hello Sue, if by finding out about his family you mean finding out who his mother was then you'll need to buy a copy of his birth certificate.
