That's added quite a bit to what I knew- thanks.
It seems that my Sybil Pritchard had 3 illegitimate children before she married. The only thing I can find about the father of these children is that his name was Bloomer. But now that I know the Pritchard came from her side of the family I don't know what his surname was. He was a musician and I don't know if that would have been a respectable trade in those days. It depends I suppose!

Anyone who comes across anyone called Bloomer in London in the late 1800s??????
