" Sorry " to all the above for not responding sooner than this - other things in my life left me with little time to research. Trying to pick up the threads again.
Yes all the above is my Sarah Hull - she had a very colourful life that was quiet often shown in the courts.
I have found her death and inquest in 1917 from drowing but not where she has been buried. There doesnt seem to be any registration of this.

For some reason the following article is coming up that I've previously viewed it?
http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/9220425?searchTerm=%22sarah%20hull%22%20&searchLimits=
The Mercury (Hobart, Tas. : 1860 - 1954) Wednesday 25 September 1889
ALLEGED NEGLECT. Sarah Hull, alias Sarah Cook, was charged with wilfully neglecting a male child of the age of six months. Accused, who was undefended, pleaded not guilty.
Jury : Thomas Mools; J. Paton; J. Poole; F. J. Pike; R. C. Steele; R. W. Baker; A. Burnett; W. Hawkins; R. J. Rogers; J. Callaghan; E. Tone; W. Golding.
This charge arose out of the circumstances in connection with the case mentioned in these columns in July last, and reported at length when the preliminary investigation took place at the City Police Court, the evidence now given for the prosecution being similar. Accused put in a statement that when the man Cook, with whom she was living, died he left her, with the exception of a good home, totally destitute. She had been obliged to dispose of the furniture to maintain the children. The child was of a most delicate nature, and had ailed from the date of its birth. She had consulted both Dr. Bingham Crowther and Dr. Weaver respecting the child's health. She admitted that it had been neglected on the day in question, owing to the death of her stepfather, in respect of cleanliness, although not as regarded food. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty, adding a rider that although there was evidence of neglect there was not sufficient proof to convict. His HONOR warned accused to be more careful in future, and she was then discharged. The Court adjourned till 10 a.m. the following day.

I am trying to find a Sarah Hull born 1860
Married Alan Innes born 1862 died 1882 ?
They had one son who was one when he died.
He then took on his stepfathers name and was called Alfred Allen Innes Cook
She later married a Arthur Cook when Allen died.
Their descendants are in Tasmania and Flinders Island
BUT I have been unable to find anything on them
Dont know if they came to Australia or where born there.
