My g/g/gdad b1788], all b bongate,harewood or weadley.
weardley is a very small village built by Lord Harewood around 1750s to house his workers i dont know who lived there up to 1806[Rose Cottage]but from1806 henry baldwin and his new wife ruth moved in and all my family were b there the last one was geoge william baldwin b 1880[ foman plumber on the Harewood estate] Lord harewood the one who d a few years ago gave geoge that cottage with half acrea of land till he died, which he did on march 1965 he suffered a heart attack was taken to knasborough hosp where he died sat 13 march 1965 he was a lovely man unmarr he was my nans brother.
Except for george b 1794 i know everything about the baldwins.

Me b 1944 my mum worked and in the school hols my nan took care of me and my brother[my nan was g/daug of henry b 1788].
most of the baldwins there great grand kids??? i have met, some are still working for Lord Harewood and in the 1940s/50s harewood had a lot of death duty to pay, so he sold of some farms i know of four still run by baldwins.

I wrote to you Ann last night about 11-30 but this dammed machine messed everything up
