I am searching for details of Mary Jane Thom recorded in the 1911 census as the daughter aged 40 and single, birthplace - Blackburn and a ""British Subject By Parentage"" the address is Dutton Manor, Longridge.

She is the only person in the 24 roomed manor house surrounded by 5 servants.

The manor was constructed as a shooting lodge and at this time was owned by "The Fenton Family" I think. Where are they, what is Mary Jane Thom doing there as a daughter and what happened to her. ????

My ancestors are located in Harwood / Clayton-le-Moors

It appears Ancestry has double up on this family as another 1911 census has the same families put together.

1881...the MMN for both Frank and Henry (+ William 1865). We're all Stowe but I can't find a marriage for William and Penelope Stowe or a birth for her which re death should be about 1843
