looking for jane cumberland, i know she married john shorrock (Cert says shonock!) in 1883 and became shorrocks,
i know her father is william cumberland
i know she was born 1858 in castle donnington
i know she died 2 apr 1932 in huddersfield

ive trolled thr census and no sign of jane cumberland before 1883!

I thought Shardlow was Derbyshire and Castle Donnington in Leicestershire

GlitterBaby, I checked Genuki - it has Castle Donington under Shardlow until 1938, when it transferred to Loughborough.

I have found William and Jemima but no Jane with them. William is a sawyer if that helps. They are on census 1851 onwards so no question that Jemima re-married after Jane was born.
