on ancestry i put down something about elizabeth summers marr a man called CALDICOTT now elizabeth is my 4/5x aunt and it was getting hard to find anything, a lady from australia e mailed me and said it was collicutt and was her 3/4 x g/dad, she gave me there date of marr 1852 and said she thinks they had a son and she asked if i could help her i said yes but there is so many spellings of that name over the past days i have spent 5/6 hour and got nothing,except there son william b 1853/4 and the family in the 1861 census and that it
NOTHING ELSE.

Brother Thomas is in all censuses to 1881, but neither Elizabeth nor William is with him. He died 1885.

Can't find any mention of sister Susannah, apart from birth/christening in 1830

John, which other sites are you using for your research?

If you go to FamilySearch you'll find that Elizabeth had a brother and sister
https://www.familysearch.org - search surname summers, parents Thomas and Susan and birthplace Ledbury.

Bearing in mind that people back then may not have had good levels of literacy (if any) it's small wonder their names are mis-recorded - they wouldn't have known if they were written down wrong.

you say elizabeth had 2 siblings what??, first you say no D in his name and then chris ho and argllgrean say caldicot,thats what i mean so many way to spell there name,
i cannot find ANY person that relates to elizabeth b 1828 or her son william b 1853/4 even in B.M.D i tryed last night for 3 hours on the 71,81, 91 census, on ancestry/find my past they just flew away, dug a hole and buried themselves
