I have aded a topic here before regarding John McCaffrey, since then i have found other bits of information Im wondering if anyone can help me with.
John McCaffrey was born 13/9/1864, Father John McCaffrey Mother Mary McCaffrey nee Barrett, Enniskillen.
I have an obituary from The Fermanagh Times relating to the death of John on the 11th November 1931 which oulines the details of his death. In the obituary it says , Mr McCaffrey was a 67 yr old Ex Serviceman who served in the 11th Inniskilling Fusiliers during ww1, it goes on to say that, " In his early years he served also in the British Navy and also in the United States Marines". He returned home and enlisted under Major Sir Charles Falls.

Can anyone help me with any of the above where can i get Navy records for him

There are only two John McCaffreys coming up, one born Glasgow and this one:
