I know a Isabella Currie was living at the address that Nora gave on her wedding cert, when she married Frederick Finney in 1946(could have been her gran)they had 1 son Brian now dead in 1947,but left them both not long after then had me in 1950 under the name Griffin. Then she goes off the radar.

looks like Reggie has pulled up a lot of information on this for you.

I think you need to get certfiicates to confirm some of it before proceeding any furhter to make sure all the generations match up. Otherwise you could easily go down the wrong tree.

From the certs.I have Isabella Smith marries Edwin Rylance in 1910,then in 1916 Isabella Rylance (fathers name Smith)marries Charles Currie stating she is a widow.Edwin Rylance died 1944!!!!.This could be why Ivy Irene put the maiden name Currie on her daughters birth cert.he was her stepdad.Phew hope that makes sense.

Just wondering if Louise is a descendant of Edwin Rylance - very new to this website, - was researching my Rylance family tree - I am also descended from Edwin's youngest sister.
