Hi quick question if anyone will know be really greatful for more help, I'm searching for my great grandfather x a few he was born 1868 wife Maria born 1868 also. Children James Robinson born 1899 also had brother William Henry sister Edith Sarah Agnes there were a few. I have found those but the father William born in 1868 I can't find anywhere I have searched birth death and marriage also I have searched censuses loads of them he was born in NK Saltney so was his wife yet I can't find him please does anyone know how I find him thank you guys x

You can´t get the info from a register office.
The only way you can see the info is to purchase certificates, unless you can access parish records. Even those may not give the full info.

If you are SURE that 'your' Simon was the one married to Mary..............buy the marriage cert for his father's details

The one whose census info has been posted by Mike and myself is the ONLY person with the right name and birth year. And those show his mother to be Elizabeth.....born OVERSEAS

Don't try to do research without getting certs......................and keep an open mind

Other trees have Simon's mother as born in East India and married at the age of 12 to Simon's father... also called Simon.

Just how accurate this is will be down to you to check out.

Simon's birth certificate would be a good starting point.
