Depending on the circumstances, you may not get the full picture from a death certificate.
Family memories tell of my great grandfather dying while digging the garden for someone in their village in 1937.
The death certificate notes his place of death as his home address as that is where death was certified after he had been carried home by fellow villagers.

Nothing pops up on the BNA on GR, although please do make a 'free' search yourself. You could contact Oxfordshire Archive or the local library archives to see if they are willing to make a search for you assuming they hold old newspapers. They may well charge.
Google for details - the internet is your friend ;-)

The obvious solution is to purchase the DC.

Hi We know that Ernest died in 1939 on a farm in North Stoke nr Wallingford.

Ref for death is 2c volume page 435 in Walllingford Berkshire.

What we do not know is how he died. Ernest was 5 year old when he died and we been told that he died on a farm. His father was Albert Henry Dandridge 1901-1975 and his mother was Phyllis D Higgs 1903-1973. Which new papers do i need to look at for his death

Thank you Sandy

ps will it be the Oxford Mail
