Since you're new at this, Kathy, perhaps you don't know about FreeBMD:

Since you know from the 1911 census that the parents are Arthur & Clara go to FreeBMD and click on marriages, enter Arthur Adlard and spouses first name Clara and you'll find that she's Clara Annie Bradshaw.

I knew clara she was my granny a iovely personim trying to find arthurs granddad]] haven't got aclue I have him as William but don't know if it is right thank you to all for your help best wishes kathy :-)

If you do not know who is who then you need to work from the censuses and from certificates.
if you do not know who Arthur's granddad is, have you applied for his parents' marriage certificate, which will have their fathers' names on it?

If you follow what Margee has told you you get to:
Marriages Jun 1893
Adlard Arthur William Spilsby 7a 1265
Bradshaw Clara Annie Spilsby 7a 1265
and you can then apply for the certificate.

I knew about Arthur and clara as she was still alive until I was in my twenties I am still learning as I have only had a lap top a few months I am grateful to any one who can tell me what to do Cynthia was a great help with her advice regards kathy :-)
