Hi Mavis,

Don't be put off using the boards by this! :-)

Like Reggie says, look for links on searching trees and try contacting the tree owners, it's highly unlikely someone will just stumble on your post and have a link - especially when you don't give forenames and birth dates. Make sure you populate your tree with your ancestors and you may get some "hot matches" who you can contact.

Good luck with your research, and if you have specific questions or need help in finding your ancestors come back to the boards with what you have. There are plenty of members more than willing to try to help - and believe me we all need help now and then!

If you are hoping to make contact with other people researching the names..............put the names etc in 'search all trees'.........and see what comes up

If you find any links.........get in touch with the tree 'owner'

If you have put your tree on GR......you may find people contacting you

There are 53 cases of Easterby in their tree in the London area on GR
300 with Overton
300 with Munday
Just click on search then on all trees and enter a name
You can then send them an email via GR

Have you used freebmd to try to find factual info?

You must have first names and birth info if you have a 'tree'

We can't even try to help without more info from you

We can't be expected to research all of the children etc, etc of George Shepherd for you..............

We enjoy helping........but there are limits

You haven't even said what you are looking for......................

As you already have a tree.......................what do you think can be added?

Hi Mavis - welcome to the boards!

It may help if you concentrate on one part of the family at a time - give us the info you have on George Shephard and Amy and maybe we can take it from there.

Mavis

If you are hoping for help.........please give useful info, namely birth years, birthplaces and forenames

How much research have you done yourself?

No point in anyone looking for that which you already know.

Perhaps you could read some other requests, to get an idea of how to ask for help on the boards.

You haven't even indicated whether the surnames you list are inter-connected in any way

Hi Mavis and welcome to the boards.

To find out if any other members have any of your ancestors in their trees..........click on "Search Trees" above.......and then click on "Search all Trees" from the drop down menu.

If you find ant connections, you can then contact the tree owner/owners via GR by sending a message.

If you need any help with your research.........just post another thread (or continue on this one) telling us what information you are looking for and give dates and places of birth of who you are researching.

Prickles.
