Her birth appears to be 1916 (or 1915) - which is the year you have her in your tree on here:

Cant Winifred A Humphrey Maidstone 2a 1528
and she is also in another's tree - have you contacted them?

I have tried Reggie, thanks.. I have tried looking at her siblings Alice Beatrice Cant, Alfred Cant who married Florence Osborne and Charles Cant for any clues but not getting anywhere with them either. There is a genes member Nichola who has all these names which would be a great help but I've not had any reply from her, I wrote weeks ago.. The only reason I found Winifred married to Herbert Johnston was because she registered her mothers death.

Don't know if it is your Winifred, but....

There is a Winifred on the Maidstone ER upto 2009 Age:65+.

You would need to contact Maidstone council to see if Winifred is still on ER or if a death has been registered.
