It would help to know her age on the marriage cert and also who she named as her father.

Someone has this in their tree

George Newman Pulman
Birth: Sep 1889 - Devon, England
Death: 1972 - Exeter, Devon, England
Marriage: 1924 - Merthyr Tydfil, Wales
Parents:
Henry James Russell Pulman,
Elizabeth Enticott
Spouse: Ellen E Fisher

If Ellen was same age as George then it may well have been a second marriage so Fisher may not be her maiden name.

Details from the marriage cert is a must

The mmn on the daughter's birth is Fisher .....

Could Ellen have been quite a bit younger than George?

David, if someone has them in their tree they're highly unlikely to see your message on here. Go to the Search menu above and then select Search All Trees to see if you can find any other tree owners and, if so, make contact with them. There's only a very very small minority of GR members who actually use these boards so you have to be pro-active.

It doesn't matter if you're not a member of Ancestry - you can search and view public trees (and contact tree owners) on the spin-off site Mundia
http://www.mundia.com/gb/
You have to register but it's completely free.
