Find Ancestors

Thanks to everyone who replied to my quiery about William and Joanna being married I have come to the conclusion that perhaps they were not .I have most of the information about this family now So once again thankyou

Hello Carol, what info does it give about William on the girls birth certificate? e.g. occupation, address.

Two of the daughters, Alice and Pamela, are in the Leicester workhouse in 1871 surname Bardoli even though they were registered at birth as Doubleday.

A search would be easier if you are able to say roughly when the marriage would have taken place

I can see a tree on Ancestry that gives Johanna's birth year as 1827

I am looking for marriage of William Doubleday to Joanna Bordoli lived in Leicester but not sure where William came from. It could have been have been Nottinghamshire
