Maureenxx :-) :-)

MaureeninNY Report 13 Jun 2013 20:59

OK-now I'm confused,Chris!!!!!

Do you know for certain that Nora is Thomas and Julia's daughter?

Off to make dinner.......

Cippy Report 13 Jun 2013 21:21

we always thought Norah was a daughter of my gr gr grandmother Isabella Young nee MacKintosh. But couldnt find her, thinking she was called Norah Young. She was the daughter of Isabella's sister Julia. I even had Thomas Stott in my tree, but without any additional info. It was only yesterday when I found out that she was born Norah Stott. She probably lived with her aunt Isabella (my gr-gr-grandmother) when she came to Sunderland abt 1900.

Just wondering why she had to live in an orphanage 1891, there were so many aunts and uncles :-(

maureen, you gave the hint with Thomas & Julia, so I looked up Julias maiden name. Mackintosh. That rang a bell, looked in my tree and there she was. I could of checked my tree for other Stotts first :-D

MaureeninNY Report 13 Jun 2013 21:35

Ah,I see. Thanks for explaining!

Maureen :-)

Cippy Report 13 Jun 2013 21:42
