Veggie, I've already said on the other thread that I couldn't find a baptism.

It could get very messy if you try to keep to threads going on the same subject!

Hello All
I've just seen a posting from earlier today that mentioned Bethnal Green Workhouse, Waterloo Road, and gave list of names of inmates froms cencus. wondered if any one had access to any details.
A gg aunt went to London from Dorset to give birth as she was not married at the time. Her Name is Thirza/Thursa Jane Hull (may have been know as Jane} born 1844, she gave birth to a daughter between 1864-1867 who was know as Bessie Jane Croft or Craft. On 1871 cencus bessie had surname of Croft/Craft living with grand parents 1881 cencus surname Washington, all cencus states her as being born Holloway or Middlesex.
On marriage cert of thirza to George Washington her address is given as Waterloo Road, I wondered if she was in the workhouse, they married 1871 Parish of St John, Waterloo. I have all other records for Thirza and Bessie and their families but cant find any thing on bessies birth or baptisim. I may be clutching at straws, but thank you for any help with this Veggie
