As far as I can tell online, without knowing the area, it looks as if the Belvedere Hotel has now been converted into flats - Belvedere Court.

Re hospital, best just to phone or write and ask them:

Also listed online as Victoria Cottage Hospital, Sidmouth - same place.

Did anyone work at sidmouth cottage hospital or the belvedere hotel sidmouth in 1961,please? Does anyone know if hospitals keep staff records that long, as my mum worked there for at least 6 months after having me. :-)
