im looking for anyone related to my gran Rita Puddicombe was Hayes, she was born In Nuneaton and born 1940 anyone with info or can help please contact me on hear.

Look in Search Trees to see if anyone has her in their tree.

The MMN on your mother's birth reg'n is Clayton

It appears that she has a brother...............

But there is no evidence of a marriage for their parents............

thank u all for ur help but im looking to contact any family members of my gran, and reggie thanks but we know she has a brother we just don't know where he is or anything about him as she was adopted at the age of 2 1/2 this is why we are looking for any info. many thanks thou

The 'brother' to whom I referred is your mother's.

Who was 'adopted at 2 1/2'?

You say Rita Puddicombe 'was' Hayes.......in what sense?

As I said before, your mother's mother had the maiden name of Clayton.

If you are looking to contact members of your Grandmother's family ................. it rally serves little purpose to post on the Boards.

It is very unlikely that someone will happen by your post, as one estimate is that less than 1% of the members even look at the Community Boards.


What would be better would be for you to search the family trees on here to see if any of them have your Grandmother in them.


Scroll up to the very top of your screen, to where you can see Search

Click on Search

Click on Search All Trees in the drop-down box that appears.


If you grandmother's name is in any member's tree (or trees), click on the name of the Tree Owner, and send a message through the internal system to them. This is known as a pm (for Private Message)

Be sure to untick the box that says Share Your Tree, give the other person a good idea of why you wish to make contact, and why you think you might be connected.
