Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 18,042 Send Message	Hi Sharon, if I could just comment on where you say "I am pretty sure it is correct as he already had some of my ancestors on it." - don't take that as a given! I have seen umpteen trees on ancestry where members have some of the same ancestors as myself but they have gone completely adrift with some of their research and consequently have a tree which contains hosts of wrong people. It's an easy trap to fall into, especially as ancestry gives so many false hints which people accept. (In the cases where people have different research to my own, I'm 100% confident that mine is right as I've backed it up with all possible certificates and parish records). The only person's research you can trust is your own, and we're more than happy to help you with that.

	On Ancestry I used the tree under NormanWright77. I am pretty sure it is correct as he already had some of my ancestors on it. My grandmother was Dorothy Penny b1919 and married Charles Jenner. Her father was Christopher Penny b1878-1932 married Elizabeth Crossley His father William Penny b1847 married Bertha Terry His father George Penny b1819 married Ann Powell His father George Penny b 1780 married Sarah Wells His father Thomas Penny b 1750 married Susanna This is just the direct line relevant to me but if asked I am happy to grant access to my tree if it will help anyone. 	Sharon can you please give us some more info of some of his descendants to enable us to identify his family. I and several cuz have several Thomas Penny's on trees on this site and Anc.... all from the London area. :-)

	Maddie, Most of the information I have came through a family tree on Ancestry. I do know Thomas Penny married someone called Susanna but do not have a maiden name. Sharon
