Hi Potty

i have asked about the family before but not this individual, although a very kind person on Genes did manage to fin the info on the death. Until I got that info, I never knew about this individual. Now having the death, I am looking for the baptism.

Dea, I agree that it would have "been nice" of me to have mentioned the 4 page thread U speak of IF I had known about it but since I didn't I couldn't have mentioned it. ;-)

Just so people don't spend time looking for info on this family other than the baptism :

Alan, have you asked about this family before? The name seems familiar.

According to Ancestry, Augustina Tenussi died in France in 1852 aged 2 yrs old. her place of birth is given as Jersey.

I know that the family were in the Isle of Wight in April 1848 and were not listed in the 1851 census as they were in France by then.

Augustina would have been christened in the Roman Catholic faith. It is complicated as it could have been any one of 9 variations of the surname:

TENUSSI: TINNIS: TENNES: TINICHEA: TENNUCI: TENICHEA: TINNUCHI: TINNUCHE: TUNNACHIA

I am not sure how easy it would be to locate a baptismal entry or even a census entry for the 1851 census.

The complete family at the time of the 1851 census for Jersey would be:
Joseph [Father]
Jessie/Janet [Mother] 1813 born Scotland
Paul c 1837 Scotland?
Matthew 1838 Nothumberland
Angelina 1842 Dover Kent
Charles 1844 Isle of Wight
Bartholomew 1848 Isle of Wight
Augustina c1850 Jersey.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a lot of info etc on all of the others apart from Augustina.
