Member Since: February 2004 Posts: 15 Send Message	Can anyone help, is there any way that I find out where my Ancestor Leslie T C Atkins D.O.B 1918 born in Portsmouth was living after his mothers death in 1920 he was not adopted or taking in by relatives,later in life he joined the Merchant Navy.(I cannot remember if I have put this on here before or not).

	I doubt very much that the info will be readily available What happened to his father? Any reason to think the boy didn't stay with him?

Member Since: February 2004 Posts: 15 Send Message	Dear Reggie, Thankyou for your help the mother was Winifred Atkins she passed away suddenly in Northend Portsmouth due to a heart condition Leslie,s father was in the Navy got remarried moved to London but never took Leslie or his brother,s with him and Leslie did not stay with any of his brothers or relations as we know at the moment it is a mystery.
