	Google for Leeds newspapers.........then contact them direct. They may be able/willing to help you, if you can provide the date of death Failing that, the Yorks County Records Office should have microfiches of all local papers.......

Member Since: December 2007 Posts: 36 Send Message	Hello I have an ancestor who died in a forge in Leeds in 1886 aged 42. His name is Albert Dixon. I would like to find out whether there is any record of his death in one of the local papers but I have no ide where to start. I have looked on the genes site and I found nothing. Where would I find archived Leeds newspapers please? Gillian
