I am looking for the christian name of a second cousins husband.

RITA M PERKS married a man with the surname of KENNELLY in Hatfield
Hertfordshire in DEC 1963.......I found this info on FREEBMD but there is no christian name mentioned which I find odd as they are normally there.

Is anyone able to discover his name for me please.

Thanks

As its the 1963 your looking at freebmd have not competed that year yet

You could do a manual search of the index to find his name

A 1963q4 look up for Hatfield gets something like:

Marriages Dec 1963 (68%)
ALEXANDER ALAN SMITH HATFIELD 4B 100

This names are fictious, but the rest is real.
Note the (68%) - this is the %-age of the index that's transcribed for this quarter.
If this were real, it probably wouldn't find the Smith - Hatfield has 143 entries transcribed and only 1 of them is in the range S-Z, and there should be abt 25% of surnames in this range - the other 7% will be in scattered blocks of letters that have been assigned, but not yet completed. Look at all the Hatfield marrs for 1963q4 - the red + signs denote entries added since the previous update - usually these are every 4 weeks, but this previous one was just over 5 wks earlier. You'll see most red +s are at the end, but there are 3 earlier blocks just done.

You can look up the image via the "view images" link on FreeBMD's homepage - it's a klunky interface, but will eventually get you to the image you want - and 3 months earlier than waiting for Younger to get transcribed.
